Blue Violet Early Bird Special!

Thursday, May 29th, 2008 by Michelle

hee-hee! I was too excited to wait one more day to release the Blue Violet products, so you get them a day early! Here are a few layouts the team did with these products this past week:

Aren’t they beautiful? You can click on the images to visit the full sized ones in the gallery. I’m sure we’ll be adding more layouts to the Blue Violet Showcase, so stop back in later and check it out!

Now, of course what would a new product release be without a little sale! So, until Sunday, June 1 you can get all these products at 30% off! Buy it as a kit, or as separates - all the previews are linked to the shoppe where there are additional previews.

Oh, what’s that you say? I forgot about the giveaway…… LOL - no, I didn’t. I just thought I’d make you wait a bit - I’m evil aren’t I? My fancy random number generator (my son) chose the number 4 - well, since that post was one of my CT girls who already has the kit, I ended up using an even more scientific method to choose….I picked the person who left the first comment! So, congratulations Armina! You’ve won the Blue Violet Coordinated Kit and Blue Violet Glitter Styles and Patterns - enjoy!

One last new product release before I go - for those of you who emailed me so many wonderful compliments on the Citrus Punch Kit - I’ve created a little Add On Kit! OK, well, it’s not really little as I don’t seem to do little well. But, it is also 30% off through Sunday. This product is no longer available!

New Products Sale & Sneek Peek

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008 by Michelle

Just poking my head in to welcome Debra (healersmoon) to the Creative Team and to share some great new products that I added to the shoppe today which will all be 30% off through May 25th.

First up are these awesome clear Photoshop styles - perfect for transforming any shape of any color into instant 3D transparency! There are two sets - one called Clearly Fluids, which gives a larger, rounder look - and the other called Clearly Solids, which give a flatter, more plastic or acrylic look.

Next up are Rainbow Glitter Styles and Patterns. These are the same glitters that I designed to use in my Glitter and Grunge products and I loved them so much that I revamped my Citrus Punch and Rembrandt’s Palette Glitters so they are all in this new style. I know you’ll love them too - as they come as Photoshop Styles, Patterns and seamlessly tiling .jpg files so you can create the glitters in other programs too!

Lastly, for the new products are another handwriting font based on my friend Alana’s handwriting and these really fabulous translucent balloons which come with cute little strings perfect for holding or fastening - digitally of course! I have to give a special thanks to my husband, John for doing a little QC on them and giving me some advice that made them look even better (although it required me to completely remake them all lol! Hope you like them too.

As promised, here is a little sneak peek at my newest digital scrapbooking kit, Blue Violet, which will be released next week! It’s another big one - it comes as five individual products: embellishments, patterned papers, striped papers, solid papers, glitter styles - or for paper lovers: the paper collection and for kit lovers: the coordinated kit. Wow!

And for those of you who stuck with me and made it down here at the end of the post - a little something special! Everyone who leaves a comment on this post until May 28 will have their name put in a drawing to win the Blue Violet Coordinated Kit and Glitter Styles for FREE! The winner will be announced next Friday along with the release of kit.

Michelle’s May Challenge - Motherhood!

Monday, May 5th, 2008 by Michelle

So, did everyone survive National Scrapbooking Day? I had lots of fun shopping and managed to get in a couple chats and get some great freebies too. I’ve even managed to scrap with some of my new goodies - I’ll share them with you at the end of the post!

The theme I chose for my May challenge is Motherhood. All of us have a mother, and many of us are mothers, so this should be easy right? And to make it even easier I’ve made two freebies to help you along!

You can use this cute little quick page - just plop your photo in the blank frame and add a title and/or journaling and some extra embellishments to make it your own. OR, if you don’t care for the colors, or want to move things around you can use the layered .psd file. Just drag your digital papers into the .psd and clip them to the template layers. And if you don’t have a program that can open .psd files, I’ve also included a .png of each layer. You can download the FREEBIES in the shoppe - just add to your cart and check out. They’ll be available until the end of the month.

Once you’ve finished your layout, simply upload it to the Motherhood Challenge album in our gallery. For those of you who are new to our gallery: you’ll need to register (its a separate registration from the shoppe), then once you are in the album you’ll see an “Add Items” link in the left sidebar. Just upload the file and enter a description and click the Add Item button on the bottom of the screen. Super easy!

And here is a sample layout I made with the quick page to get your inspiration going:

And last but not least, here are those layouts I promised to show you:
