So, are all you scrappers ready for National Scrapbooking Day on Saturday? I don’t have a heck of a lot of free time to participate in all the fun activities, but I do have plans to browse some of my favorite designers shops in hopes of getting a few deals!

Being such a tiny and relatively unknown shoppe, I’ve opted to maintain a low profile here - but in case anyone happens to drop on by I did finish up some new goodies I’ve been working on and they’ll be 30% off through Sunday May 4th.

Everything in the Glitter and Grunge line is available as individual products. Or, if you love all three of the paper sets, consider the Paper Collection and save a bit of cash. Or, if you love everything and just have to have it all, I’ve got you covered too - just grab the Coordinated Kit!

Before I post the previews (and possibly lose your attention!) - be sure to check back this weekend for my first blog challenge. It’s going to be a super easy one that anyone can do and everyone who participates is going to get an extra special goodie from me!

And I also wanted to welcome the first two members of my Creative Team - Jen C and Renilicious! These two gals are really great friends of mine who I’ve had the pleasure of working with before so it is sure to be great fun! I’m going to be getting Jen and Ren settled in before I do any more recruiting for the team, but keep an eye on the blog in the next week or so for more information!

I am so excited to share the new and improved MellowButterfly with you! We have a sleek new design; the shoppe and gallery have been upgraded to provide a better browsing experience; and I’ve traded in the forum for this fun blog! Wow, it was a lot of work, but I think it was worth it! So, take a look around and let me know what you think!

As usual, I have some fun and exciting plans up my sleeves for you, but…….the first order of business is to recruit a brand new MellowButterfly Creative Team! I’m looking for a small group of Digital Artists AND Digital Scrapbookers who love my products, who like to host fun artistic challenges and who can commit three months to being on the Team.

Team Members will be required to:

• create at least two items per month using my products (items meaning an art work, scrapbook layout, hybrid craft project, altered art, etc.) and post each of those items to the MellowButterfly Gallery as well as two other online galleries of your choice.
• host and promote one blog challenge per month. Instructions on using the blog and gallery will be provided - so no experience is necessary!
• leave lots of positive comments on other people’s works in the MellowButterfly Gallery

In return for all your fantastic help and teamwork, you will receive:

• Up to four free MellowButterfly Products each month (you must make at least one item per product).
• 50% off other MellowButterfly Products (excluding services and small business licenses), you know, in case 4 freebies just aren’t enough!
• first chance at opportunities to be MellowButterfly Guest Designers and/or work with me on collaborations where you can earn cash!
